We watched the sunset as we joined  together in worship and song for Wednesday evenings Vespers on the bluff. What a beautiful way to feel close to God as the cool breeze calmed our souls and opened our hearts.

The final summer BLAST will be held at Pilgrim Haven
Beach. (This is located on 18th Avenue, off of 77th Street).
This is the site of the former church camp that was op-
erated by the United Church of Christ. There is good parking
and easy access to the beach on a concrete path.

It’s that time again. BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL. You know what that means? BLUEBERRY PIE BAKE-A-THON.

This is one of our biggest fundraisers and we need everyones help. Our goal is to have 500 pies, at least 200 turnovers and bluerberry creations from those of you who cook at home.

BLAST is a summer VBS type event for all ages.  Singles, families, children, and couples.   Each month there will be a special evening program that will include a meal.   On July 25th it is BLAST/Family fun night.   This event will start outside with games from 6 to 6:30 which will include a Ga Ga P

The first “Boomers and Beyond” luncheon was a great success.  Twenty five to thirty people joined together to share lunch and fellowship. No speeches, no collections, no fundraising, no agenda. Just pure fellowship!!

Women’s Fellowship is putting the finishing touches of the quilt to be raffled off at the Blue Jean Ball.

The Domestic Violence Coalition of Van Buren County is having a Blue Jean Ball on August 3rd at 6:00 pm. It will be held at the Vintage Barn in Gobles.

Due to the two services through the summer, we are trying something new. For the next two weeks (July 8th and 15th) we will be having the 10:30 worship service in the Chapel. Patrica will be playing for us and perhaps our voices won’t get lost in the rafters.
