WE’RE IN HAITI! Several of us started our trip at 2:00 am on our way to the airport in Detroit. Our plane left at approximately 7:10 am and landed in Fort Lauderdale, FL at approx. 10:15 am.
We had a five hour layover in Fort Lauderdale where we were able to grab something to eat before we took off at 3:15 pm for Haiti. We arrived in Haite around 5:15 pm and after getting luggage we boarded a very, very, very old school bus for the 45 minute drive to Good Shepard Orphanage.
