Bike Group

The First Congregational Church bike group is a very loosely organized group who enjoy spending time together on their bikes.  We encourage all adult and family cyclists to join us; there is someone with whom to ride at all ability levels.

Bike Group Planning

We had a good turnout for our organizational meeting and came up with the following tentative schedule.
 
 All local rides leave from the church parking lot and will last about
 2-4 hours unless otherwise noted.  We will vary the destination
 according to road/trail conditions, but local rides will be on the
 KalHaven Trail, VanBuren Trail, or local roads including the North Shore Loop, Covert and Van Buren State Park areas. 

 For example, KalHaven Trail Rides can vary in time and
 distance - Kibbe (10 mi r/t), Grand Junction (22 mi r/t), Bloomingdale (~30 mi r/t).  Grand Junction and Bloomingdale could include a picnic lunch. 

Meet at church at the following times.
> Sunday 6.00 pm
> Monday 10:00 am
> Friday 2:00 pm
 
 Anyone wanting to organize rides at other times, let me know and I'll inform the group so others can join in.
 
 We talked about the possibility of doing some Saturday rides in July
 and August on the trails in Holland, more info to follow later.
