The final summer BLAST will be held at Pilgrim Haven
Beach. (This is located on 18th Avenue, off of 77th Street).
This is the site of the former church camp that was op-
erated by the United Church of Christ. There is good parking
and easy access to the beach on a concrete path.
Activities will incl
BLAST is a summer VBS type event for all ages. Singles, families, children, and couples. Each month there will be a special evening program that will include a meal. On July 25th it is BLAST/Family fun night. This event will start outside with games from 6 to 6:30 which will include a Ga Ga P
The first “Boomers and Beyond” luncheon was a great success. Twenty five to thirty people joined together to share lunch and fellowship. No speeches, no collections, no fundraising, no agenda. Just pure fellowship!!
Due to the two services through the summer, we are trying something new. For the next two weeks (July 8th and 15th) we will be having the 10:30 worship service in the Chapel. Patrica will be playing for us and perhaps our voices won’t get lost in the rafters.
